I grew up in Vernon, where I lived until I moved to Lac Le Jeune in 2016. While in Vernon I started my bookkeeping business but took a full time job with KalTire, which at that time was the best choice for me, being a single mom. Working full time and bookkeeping part time was not working for me. I stopped the bookkeeping portion of my business but continued doing personal taxes for family and friends. Now my needs have changed, my daughter is all grown up and on her own, so I am taking this opportunity to restart my bookkeeping business here in Kamloops and Vernon, with the full support of my boyfriend. I have a great office located in my home. Recently I joined a Business International Networking chapter in Kamloops.
Even though I have moved to Kamloops area, I am still in Vernon about twice a month to see family and go to appointments. I am willing to come to Vernon more if required.
My goal is to help the companies I do bookkeeping for succeed in their business by doing their bookkeeping, bringing things to their attention that they need to be made aware of and learning their business, so I can help them be financially efficient.
The single most important thing you need to know about me is my passion to help small businesses. Prior to joining Platinum Accounting, I worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant performing a multitude of tasks for several businesses, including staffing and payroll. I have learned through personal experience how critical bookkeeping is for the success of a business. It is my opinion that business owners are far more successful when they can focus more on their actual business and not so much on their books. If this is you, then look no further.
